How to distinguish the quality of diamond saw blade
1. Observe the emery exposed on the cutting head, and observe its concentration and distribution. For a good diamond saw blade, the content of carborundum will not be too small, but it should not be too much, and it should be evenly distributed
2. According to the welding situation, we can start from two points. First, observe whether the weld is complete and tidy. If the weld is not continuous and the edge of the cutter head is not vertically aligned with the base water tank, chip removal and heat dissipation will be affected. And it may cause the cutter head to fall off. Second, hold the saw blade in your hand, and observe whether the diamond blade and the substrate are aligned on the horizontal plane. If the blade is uneven and crisscross, it is likely to cause the plate edge collapse or even the blade head falling off during the use process.
3. Compare the thickness of cutter head with that of matrix. Take 350mm granite saw blade as an example. Generally, the cutter head is about 1mm thicker than the base body. The 350mm marble saw blade head is about 0.2mm-0.5mm thicker than the base. The reason of this design is to avoid damaging the matrix and to improve the service life of the saw blade.
4. There will be a contradiction between the sharpness and wear resistance of the saw blade. Our suggestion is that when the life of saw blade reaches the expected goal and the sharpness is moderate, do not ask for longer life. Because the external environment, such as the operation of cutting machine, workers, stone hardness and so on, will change at any time. Once the external environment changes, the original wear-resistant saw blade will not be able to be used.
Sharp tools make good work. Whether it is a stone manufacturer, trader or dealer, choosing a reliable supplier and finding a suitable saw blade is the guarantee of success.
